The Lalitha Kala Thoranam, an open-air theater, has been a venue for many film festivals, fashion shows and beauty pageants.
The building of the Department of Horticulture and an ancient mosque are among other fascinating places in the premises.
A stunningly beautiful and immense white structure located in the Public Garden, is the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly.
The white structure looks simply heavenly, located amidst the sprawling green lawns. In 1985 a New Legislative Assembly hall was inaugurated by the then Prime Minister of India, Late Sri. Rajiv Gandhi.
The state government has recently added a huge statue of the Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi in the Garden. Sitting in a praying posture, the statue looks peacefully serene and adds to the beauty of the Garden.
